Global Kid’s Essay Contest: Chicago, NYC, Pittsburgh

Kids around the world are schooling readers on “How to Make School Better” in the J Rêve International Global Kid’s Essay Contest.  Essayists have already been awarded in Louisiana, Rochester, NY; Dubai, India and Senegal.  First place winners will be awarded in June 2016 in Pittsburgh, PA; New York, NY; and Chicago, IL.  Essays are being accepted until midnight, May 30th, 2016 at jrevekids@gmail.com.

“When I was 11 years old, I won first place in an essay contest and it impacted my confidence and creativity tremendously,” recalls Jacqueline Cofield, Founder of J Rêve International, “It’s an honor and pleasure to create such opportunities for kids around the world, validate their voice, and encourage their creative expression.”  Teachers, students, parents, and administrators around the world are thrilled about the opportunity.  “Receiving this award is not only an honor for Sokhna, but also for every teacher at this school, as it is acknowledges their efforts to educate the students as well,” exclaimed Mr. Ndiaye, Principal of Marie Dior Sarr School in Dakar, Senegal.
