On Saturday, March 19, 2016, Jacqueline Cofield, founder of J Rêve International contributed on the “Role of Women in Peace” panel discussion, organized by the Peace Islands Institute International (PII) and the Turkish Cultural Center of Rochester,  at State University of NY Monroe Community College, in Rochester.

We’d like to thank Bulent Ozdemir
Executive Director of PII,  Audra Dion, Asst. Director of Global Education and International Services at MCC, and her team including Dr. Gabrielle Bedewi for inviting J Rêve to participate.   It was an inspiring evening.  Dr. Melody Cofield, Jacqueline’s mother, is an inspiration for many in the community, and Jacqueline sat beside her on the International Women’s Day Conference panel stating, stating “I’m so pleased to discuss how women in the arts impact peace globally, J Rêve International, as well as to hear my mother discuss the important work her organizations do towards that end.”
