J Rêve International hosts Cuban Culture and Creativity Retreat
Participants learn Cuban Dance & Arts, Yoga, and participate in Carnival
HAVANA, CUBA. August 5-12th, 2016. J Rêve International is pleased to announce its upcoming Creativity Retreat in Havana, Cuba, August 5-12th, 2016, in collaboration with AYRA Movement Project. The weeklong program includes Cuban dance lessons, creativity workshops, yoga classes, local arts engagement, and Carnival. The Culture and Creativity Retreat allows participants to gain first-hand experiences in the creative arts of Cuban culture, while exploring essential elements of yoga. Global participants who desire to develop their approach to life through intercultural experience, are welcome to apply.
“Our goal is to bring people together through intercultural creative exposure,” says Jacqueline Cofield, founder of J Rêve International. “Art, wellness and spirituality are the basis of our artistic process and so we continue to research other communities that value spirituality and the arts,” explains Erica Bowen, Director of Arya Movement Project, a collective of artists that uses the healing and performing arts in their daily lives and artistic works. J Rêve International fosters a dynamic culturally creative community wherein education, civic engagement and leadership are hallmarks. J Rêve International has serviced over 1000 artists, art enthusiasts, students, and educators with global exhibition, production, exchange, and educational programs.
Program fee is $2500 and includes airfare from Miami (roundtrip), visa processing, housing, food, local transport, workshops and more. Late registration after June 15th (+200).
